Nice view towards Loch Lomond from Burncrook Reservoir on the John Muir Way
NOT long up and I get a message from Martyn asking if I’m up for a walk today. Sounds good.
I publish a G63 webzine story and spread it about social media while Margaret sorts breakfast.
We have breakfast then Margaret and Mikey sit down to sort his accounts and stuff – reminds me I really need to get mine updated and sorted ASAP. Not today though…
Martyn comes to pick me up and we drive down to Carbeth where we take the dog on a wander along part of the John Muir Way up to and around Burncrook Reservoir. It’s a good eight-and-a-half mile walk.
Back at the house we have some of Margaret’s apple pie, Barbara pops in for a coffee and Mikey heads back to Dundee.
Jonzip and Maggi are coming tomorrow – plans to record some stuff in the studio and have lunch. I prepare some chicken thighs and give ’em a good dose of rub to go on the smoker first thing in the morning.
We have another chilled night and have a couple of glasses of red in front of the telly.
