OUCH. I’m aching all over. When I stand up it feels like my feet have gone and I’m walking on bone stumps.
My back and right shoulder’s killing me from a scene involving a big heavy rusty chain. Oh well, at least I’m not suffering the sunburn that I expect Martyn and Jamie will be dealing with this morning…and, as the adage goes, there’s no gain without pain.
After sorting out some of the photos from the videoshoot I realise I still haven’t created Facebook profile and page banners heralding the forthcoming EP release.
It takes me a bit longer than I intend then I make a sausage sandwich for a late lunch –breakfast was extremely late too – then go for a walk in the sunshine to see if it helps ease my aches.
Back at the office I start work on the second of the two websites I’m doing for someone until it’s time to light some charcoal for the grill.
Far too nice a day to eat indoors – I marinated some chicken earlier and put it on skewers along with some mushrooms and peppers. Margaret sorts out some baby tatties, salad and coleslaw while I crack open a beer and grill the kebabs.
We’re not long cleaned up when Martyn drops by. I’d offered to help with a website issue. We have a beer and tweak his website then chat for a while about the Hellbound Train video before he heads off.
I get a few more things done then retire with a large Edradour – courtesy of Sue and Jim 🙂 – and the Kindle….

The chicken kebabs are pretty good. Nothing like charcoal for grilling!
