AFTER breakfast I do a little work on my accounts then an email comes in from the USA with some potential gig news for the Michigan area…that could be a big help.
There’s a bit of prep to do and stuff to get ready for the Facebook livestream scheduled for 2pm on my Facebook page – there’s a few requests for songs in too, so I need to make sure I remember the words – and also all the gig info to tell folks.
Luckily the sun’s shining when we set up on the lochside. The water’s quite choppy and there’s a bit of noise from the wind and waves but nothing too bad – we’re doing a Facebook livestream, not filming a masterpiece.
All goes good – if you missed the livestream you can see it again on my Facebook page here.
Once we’re done we take a wander and pick some brambles before heading home.
I take advantage of the dry weather to trim the ivy round our outdoor light by the front door. It;s completely overgrown. There’s other bushes and stuff needing trimmed and cut then I clear the gutters over at the studio and the front of the house.
It’s dark when we’re done. Margaret makes dinner and we watch some telly then I do a wee bit more work on the USA dates – a gig is confirmed for Chicago on Saturday 29 October….and seems a couple more things are on the cards….
