JEEZ…nearly 11am when we wake up…shouldn’t have drunk all that whisky last night.
Lesley and Lynne have breakfast on the go and Heather’s brought in a load of bagels and other goodies.

The grub – and a few mugs of coffee – make us feel better. Then a walk and some fresh air.

It’s 3pm by the time we leave Newburyport, and a four hour drive to Kingston, NY for tonight’s show.

We load in at The Anchor soon after 7pm and are sat down with great burgers – our favourite mushroom Swiss – and a nice IPA.

Opening act Lara Hope & the Ark-Tones arrive soon after and kick off the night with a great set.

There’s lots of folks we know in and a great buzz – and all the staff here are like family 🙂

We load out around 1am and head for New York City. Tomorrow’s (Sunday) New York Marathon has scuppered our original plans to stay over in Kingston and drop everything off in Manhattan before returning our rental car…all the streets are gonna be shut from 4/5am!

So…we arrive at my cousin’s place around 3am and unload everything, leaving it with the apartment building’ concierge…the we drove to Hackensack, NJ where we park up close to the car rental company and try to catch a few hours’ kip in the van.

Final show of the tour tomorrow (Sunday) at 5pm at Rockwood Music Hall, New York City….
