AFTER a relaxed morning I realise I forgot to put the recycling bins out for collection…and I’ve missed the glass/bottle collection.
Not to worry, there’s a bottle bank close by so I put the tub int he car and empty it on my way to Martyn’s from where we head put on a walk. We’d planned just a short walk, but we’re out for a good two-and-a-half hours.
Back at Martyn’s, Louise has a big cheese board at the ready – a nice treat…which we enjoy with a coffee in front of the fire and chat for a while before I head home.
There’s some news releases for the upcoming Scottish dates needing written…I put together a general ‘all gigs’ version for National media as well as gig//area-specific versions for the local papers and radio stations.
We have left-over chilli for dinner and watch the last episode of Sherlock on the telly. Margaret loves it, but it’s just a bit too cryptic for my feeble brain…mind you, she’s unable to explain much of it or identify ‘the story’ or plot…things that I need to have at least a handle on before I can really say I enjoy a film/TV programme/book/whatever…
