I SPEAK to the folks at Glengoyne first thing – they’re happy with the artwork I’ve created and plan to run the MugStock ticket/goodie-bag giveaway on Twitter later today (Wednesday).
Betty and Joe have asked me to help out with some stuff this morning so I nip along and we get everything sorted.
Glengoyne’s competition tweet goes out late morning and folks have to retweet (by close of play today, Wednesday) for the chance to win a pair of tickets for MugStock, a post-show dram with yours truly and a goodie-bag with some whisky and some of my merch. There’s a lot of retweeting and sharing to help build traction for the giveaway.
We need some shopping and I also need to get some big video files uploaded and go to the bank, so I make a shopping list, grab the laptop and head for Milngavie. Driving through Croftamie I notice a full 4G signal, so rather than hunt for similar in Milngavie, I pull over and get the video files uploaded. About three gigabytes-worth in 15 minutes! Just one of the video files of 4/500mb would have taken overnight at home and even at that it’d probably have dropped the upload.
I carry on to Milngavie, hit the bank, then Tesco then back home.
I manage to get some more work done before we go along to Betty and Joe’s for dinner with a bunch of other pals we haven’t seen in ages. A grand night 🙂
