A LOVELY sunny day in Belgium…and another great breakfast spread.

After packing the car we drive 100-odd miles to Calais and get booked on a slightly earlier EuroTunnel train.

There’s plenty time to spare so we browse the duty free shop in the terminal building and have some lunch. The inevitable delays mean the ‘earlier’ train doesn’t leave much earlier than the one we’d originally been booked on, but half an hour after leaving we arrive at Folkestone.

Another couple of hundred miles and we roll up at Auntie Glo and Uncle Cliff’s in Bridgend. We’re greeted with beer and a lovely diinner…just as we’re finishing eating Eileen and Cliff drop in.

A grand night of chatter and laughs đŸ™‚
