MARGARET wakes me up with a birthday card. Jeez…53…I probably say something similar every year!
No long lie today, tho’, – Auntie Glo’s got breakfast on downstairs and we need to hit the road at a decent time.
We split the largely uneventful 400-mile drive to Glasgow and make good time, until a seven-mile tailback on the motorway in Glasgow sets us back a good half-hour.
By the time we stop at Asda in Govan and get up the road it’s after 8pm. Margaret makes some dinner while I unpack some of the car-load. The rest can wait ’til the morning…although it’s a busy, full-on day tomorrow…
I get some album pre-orders packed and some odds and ends of work done and we finally eat sometime after 10pm.
