WE have a lazy morning – I drive to the village to post of some merch orders –then we take Lucy a walk up the lochside.
On the way back we stop in at Betty and Joe’s for a coffee before wandering home, packing the car and making our way to Edinburgh for a 4pm load-in at Sneaky Petes.
Soundman Ross takes us both through soundchecks and there’s time to grab some grub from a place along the road…Lucy enjoys her veggie haggis wrap. Margaret and I have pulled beef tacos. All good 🙂
Doors open at 7pm and it;s nice to see some familiar faces…Lucy’s godmother and her partner gave driven up form Lancashire to surprise her and we have a nice wee crowd in. Lucy plays another spectacular set and we resolve to do a show together at our local village hall next time she comes to Scotland.
The winner of my Facebook giveaway for guesties, special edition Dave Arcari whisky from Glengoyne and vinyl test pressings is in for the show and picks up her winnings after the show.
There’s time to chat with folks at the merch table after the show then we load out and are home just after midnight.
Snacks, drinks and chat follow and before we know it it’s after 4am. Another grand night 😉
