WE’RE off into Glasgow early.
I drop Margaret off then go for my usual Glasgow morning routine fix of coffee and wifi at McDonalds.
Lisa from the Soul Barber Rooms calls. Her husband Scott, who was meant to be cutting my hair at 10.30am, is off sick but she can slot me in at 10.15am. Actually, that suits me better!
I go for my haircut then drive across town to pick up some merch from out t-shirt cat Kenny. We have a good ol’ blether while I’m there.
Next stop B&Q, then Maplins before making my way to the People’s Palace where I park up and walk into town. I wait in a huge queue in the post office then go to find a Christmas present for Margaret.
Mission accomplished, I pick up mail from the mailbox, some more bits and bobs then back to the car to eat my sandwich before picking up Margaret.
We drop into Costco and Tesco then drop off some Christmas presents before heading to McPhabbs for what turns out to be an excellent MU (Musicians’ Union) social event.
It’s nearly 10pm when we drop some stuff off to Martyn and Louise on the way home. A few things to do then…bed…
