Physical tickets for some upcoming Scottish shows….the perfect Christmas present! Click the pic to visit the online store.

MY mailbox and ‘virtual office’ contract is up for renewal.

Once I’ve dealt with that I get busy with poster and social media banner art for March’s show in Edinburgh (Voodoo Rooms – Thursday 1 March) and Glasgow (Hug & Pint – Saturday 3 March)

Blues-noise trio Hicks are opening the show in Glasgow – I need to get them tagged on Facebook and update the ticket links etc.

I’ve not long finished the poster art and various social media stuff when Ivor drops in for a coffee and to pick up a  couple of Dave Arcari hoodies he ordered.

Next job it to paint the lettering on my decorative sign for the smoker/grill shelter. Painting on rough wood – even though it’s been sanded down a bit (not too much, ‘cos I want it to look rustic) but the end result isn’t too bad. Hopefully I’ll get the structure stained and the roof on tomorrow.

It’s like handicraft central in the office today – once the sign’s done, I print, number, perforate and cut tickets for the Buchanan, Edinburgh and Glasgow shows…Margaret likes to have physoical tickets. Plus, I can put ’em in the webstore and folks might buy them as Christmas presents…better to get a ‘proper’ ticket/s than an email saying ‘you’re going to this gig’!

Some work to do making some free downloads and price reductions in my pal Rab’s webstore then it’s dinner time.

Meantime, a nice email comes form Reunion Blues – the folks who make the gig bag I recently sourced for the ResoLectric. I messaged them saying how good it is and they’ve come back to offer me an official artist endorsement deal. Sweet!
