I DROP Margaret off in Glasgow and stop off at McDonalds to get my eNewsletter links spread online and round social media…the eNews has gone out to all my lists as scheduled, but sadly I can’t automate this part!

Next stop is the Soul Barber Room in Fininieston for a long overdue haircut. Scott’s on fine form and we drink espresso and chat while he does a good job on my hair.

I’ve some stuff to pick up in town and originally planned to park up for free at the People’s Palace and walk into town, but the weather’s looking a bit unpredictable. Anyway, I’m busting for a pee!

So instead, I park ay Buchanan Galleries, use the John Lewis toilet, go to the bank and pick up the other stuff. On the way back to the car I stop into Lakeland to check out sausage makers but instead make an impulse buy and blow my budget on a Lakeland air fryer. We’ve been thinking about getting one for a while, mostly because we’ve been having salt & pepper tofu or black pepper tofu once a week or more an have been going through a ton of vegetable oil. While that doesn’t exactly bust our budget, I’m sure the frying means a potentially very healthy meal isn’t quite what it appears.

Onward to Chung Ying for supplies then onto Tesco where I do the week’s shopping and pick up a couple of salads for lunch. I eat the salads in the car and get some more work done on the laptop.

We’re home soon after 4pm. Margaret goes along to Betty;s for a coffee and I notice a decent 4G signal on my phone…I brave the freezing cold and do livestreams to both my Facebook page and personal profile, taking the banjo into the garden as my prop of choice. Of course, the cold knocks the bluddy thing way out of tune, but it’s fun regardless of the temperature.

There’s some more work before dinner after which we plonk ourselves in front of the telly and watch the Old Grey Whistle Test three-hour special on the iPlayer…
