We have a grand morning at the opening of the new pontoon

WE’VE been invited to the official opening of the new pontoon in the village so need to get a wriggle on and get there before 10am.

Guests and passers by are already gathering when we get there and are greeted by Willie the piper.

The jetty is opened by the Duke of Montrose then we get aboard one of Cruise Loch Lomond’s boats for a trip round the islands, snack and coffee in the sunshine. A brilliant wee adventure.

I’ve got a bit of work needing done when I get back late morning, and I also want to post a wee story and some pix on the G63.scot website of this morning’s activities. See it here.

We have some lunch and I get some more work done before gathering up a guitar and stuff and head into Glasgow where I have  mentoring session with a Music+ student in the studio.

There’s a couple of bits and pieces to pick up on the way home then I spend some time on artwork for a sign for the local bunkhouse before we join Betty and Joe for some dinner.

We have a nice relaxed time and chat the evening away.
