Vietnamese beef has become one of our favourites….

WE’RE off first thing again…this time, to Inverness and on to Lairg where I have a meeting with a PRS forMusic Members’ Fund grant holder.

First stop is Broxden services at Perth to grab a coffee then House of Bruar to pick up a snack to eat en route. I opt for the Raglan pie and an individual chicken and asparagus pie. Both tried, tested and liked on previous visits. Margaret goes for the Moorland pie…which turns out to be a mistake. It’s fucking revolting. Dunno if it’s off or the content is just yeuch.

It goes in the bin and we share the rest.

I drop Maragret in Inverness where she has a 1pm meeting and has to go to Union Vinyl to drop off some more stock and pick up some cash.

An hour-and-a-half later I arrive at my meeting place and have a coffee and a chat before making my way back to Inverness to meet Margaret.

We share the drive home, stopping briefly in Doune to see Catriona, Will and Freya..getting back just before 9pm.  Time to light the grill and cook theVietnamese beef…and open a beer. It’s been a long day.
