I take the bike out for a spin and accompany Margaret on her ‘couch to 5k’ run.

THERE’S a bunch of invoices to go out for wee bits and bobs of work done over the weekend…and some other general stuff needing chased up.

It’s quite a nice morning so I decide to take the bike out for a wee spin an accompany Margaret on her couch to 5k run. It’s fun, but only a short escape from the desk.

There’s so much stuff going on I’ve not been able to make time to play guitar, let alone hit the studio,

After lunch I design and order up some new business cards with my Spotify artist code on the back.

Once they’re off to the printer I start printing out and gathering all the stuff I need for Wednesday’s visa interview at the US Embassy in London and arrange to meet a publisher I work with afterwards.

There’s something odd going on with the grass in the front garden…I haven’t cut it in three or four weeks and it’s still looking OK, but one edge near the path is a bout a foot long. I’d been wondering if  a neighbour may have given it a quick once over while we were away, but it seems they didn’t.

I move the plant pots and attack the long stuff with the strimmer and then ‘hoover’ the rest with our cranky old electric Flymo.

I’m not long finished when Betty drops in for a quick coffee and drops something off for me from Joe. A very thoughtful gesture, and much appreciated đŸ™‚

Once I get some more work out the way I take a walk up the lochside. It’s after 7pm, but still nice outside.

There’s a coupla burgers left over from the weekend and rather than leave them in the freezer we decide to stick them on the grill along with some veggies.

We watch a film – Cobain: Montage of Heck. Interesting, but at two-and-a half hours it’s a bit long and pretty slow. Coulda been a great 75-minute job!
