We have a great night at Catriona and Will’s for Will’s birthday…big party tomorrow!

WE hit Glasgow first thing…I drop Margaret of then plant myself in McDonalds for breakfast, coffee and wifi.

I’ve a bunch of stuff to do for the PRS members’ fund then spend the next couple of hours on promo for the Dave Arcari/Have Mercy Las Vegas show in Drymen next Saturday (22 September).

I get a news release together and start hitting up some key press contacts to try and get some coverage for the show.

There’s a bunch of vinyl to get sent to the USA…I paid the carriage and sorted all the paperwork online, so just need to find a post office that will let me drop off a ParcelForce Global Priority. The post office folks scan the parcel but don’t seem to know what to do with my commercial invoices/paperwork. Doesn’t inspire too much confidence!

I park up at the People’s Palace and walk into the city centre in the rain to pick up some mail then grab a sandwich in the St Enoch Centre and deal with some of the press enquiries resulting from the news release I put out earlier.

Once Ive picked up Margaret we go to Costco to pick up some supplies for Will’s 40th party tomorrow then carry on Doune…we’re staying at Catriona and Will’s tonight along with Carolyn, Steve and the boys so we can celebrate his birthday (today)..and be on hand to help set up for the party tomorrow (Saturday).

We have a great night and fall into bed sometime after midnight…big day tomorrow!
