WE’RE up early as there’s a fair bit of packing and stuff still to do.

Catriona brings Freya along to join us for breakfast and say cheerio then we get on packing the car and sorting merch.

We’d hoped to be on the road to Manchester by 11am, but it’s after midday by the time we leave.

All goes fine until we get to Carlisle and find the M6 closed because a lorry overturned.

To cut long story short it adds five hours to our trip and we check in at the airport hotel at 9.30pm!

We eat in the hotel and it’s surprisingly good….then a glad if red and early to bed. We’ll be up at 3.30am to drop the car and check in for our first flight at 4.30am….
