I WAKE up in time to have breakfast and go out for a morning walk with Martyn.

It’s Margaret’s birthday too and I go outside to retrieve the fire bowl she wanted – an easy present to source, but not so easy to hide pre-birthday!

After Martyn and I go our separate ways, I work on opening and closing sequences for tomorrow’s (Monday) debut livestream of Cookin’ Up The Blues.

We gave a quick lunch then I get back to the studio and make up some wee promo videos to post round my socials in the morning.

Before I know it, the day’s gone and I’m back in the house making bo kho – Vietnamese beef stew. It’s ready in time for our weekly viewing of Bill Mullen’s livestream from Florida.
