FIRST job of the day is to finish off the spurtle pins and get them boxed up ready for collection.

Once they’re done I mess with some ideas for a ‘gold’ finish on a spare. After considering gold leafing, plating and wax I try an enamel.

It needs to look good but also needs to last and not wear off.

I get a little work done on the mixes in the studio then Fiona rolls up and we go out for a paddle. Nice day for it.

Later on John comes to collect the spurtles then we have a late dinner and chill for a while.
