AN EARLY session with one of my online guitar students then I import the initial mixes of the album tracks into Apple Music so I can give them a good listen through.

There’s some work to be done on pix for the local hydro society website then I get my guitar and stuff ready to go to the school in Balloch.

I’m a little later back than usual then head out for a walk up the lochside, listening to the mixes as I go.

So far they’re sounding best on the AirPods and I’m largely happy with just a few note taken for ‘tweaks’.

Back home Margaret has a listen through and makes some independent notes. Better this that discussing and comparing notes as we go.

Turns out we’re pretty much in agreement about where some tweaks could improve the mixes.
