NO TIME to doddle about this morning – need to get the gear and merch packed and hit the road to Newcastle.

We leave in good time and get checked into the hotel with time to chill before heading off to The Cluny to load in and soundcheck.

Soundman and booker Ross is waiting for us and soon we’re all set up and ready to go.

Shannon and her guitarist Johnny arrive along with manager – and my pal – Adam.

As always, hospitality at The Cluny is second to none…Steven, Dixie and Jack make sure we’re well fed and watered.

There’s not a huge amount of pre-sales, but by the time Shannon takes the stage there a good wee crowd in and we end up with a respectable turnout.

I have a grand time playing and it’s good to catch up some familiar faces, old pals and some ‘first-timers’ at the merch table after the show 🙂
