Residential acoustic blues and bottleneck workshop on the shores of Loch Lomond, Scotland
Wednesday 29 – Friday 31 January 2025
A rare opportunity to delve into the world of acoustic blues and bottleneck guitar and enjoy a relaxed two-day guitar workshop in the idyllic village of Balmaha on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond, Scotland.
Based at the village’s Oak Tree Inn, the event will kick off with an informal pre-dinner meet and greet drinks reception at 6pm on Wednesday 29 January you will be one of a small group of guitar players of all experiences and abilities.
The next day – Thursday 30 January – a full programme of sessions will cover many aspects of acoustic blues and bottleneck styles over both group and one-to-one sessions.
Participants’ partners, if attending, can enjoy the wonderful outdoor surroundings or simply chill and relax. Sightseeing, shopping and other activities are only a short drive or bus ride away.
The final morning will have one-to-one sessions as well as a final session looking at, and discussing songwriting and performance before wrapping up just before lunch.
There will be a maximum of eight workshop participants to ensure that you get as much tuition and help as possible during the workshops.
The cost includes welcome drinks, two nights’ bed and breakfast at the Oak Tree Inn and all tuition/workshops.
