AFTER breakfast we get ready to visit the stepping stones at Ogmore Castle via the dipping bridge – an old stone bridge with ’holes’ in the side for pushing sheep through into the river for dipping!

The stepping stones are challenging but we all get across and walk to the swing bridge where Margaret’s cousin Dai, his partner Lisa and their dog Ozzy meet us. We hang out and chat for a while then they drive round to meet us back across the stepping stones.

We all head to Southerndown for lunch then we say cheerio and head for Rest Bay in Porthcawl where we wander on the beach and watch the surfers before stopping for a coffee.

Next stop is the shows then a swing park for play and an ice cream.

Back at the caravan we chill, get the kids to bed then enjoy a glass or two…
