THE ALARM goes off at 5.45am….ooooffft. I manage to get out of bed by 6am and we start getting stuff ready to go.
Glad all the gear was packed last night so there just our overnight bag and some other bits and bobs to sort out…and coffees/snacks for the road.
We stop off at Costco in Glasgow for fuel and have a bit of hassle with debit and credit cards which delays us almost ½-hour then we carry on.
I take over driving when we stop at McDonalds by Carlisle and have an uneventful drive until swapping with Margaret just south of Birmingham.
We stop off in Bridgend to see Auntie Glo for an hour or two then off to Dai and Liza’s for the night.
