I HAVE a meeting in the village about funding for a 4G broadband trial in the local area – all goes well and I’m back home before midday.

Andres and I pack the car and get some of the gear for tomorrow’s (Saturday) show along to the village hall so we can get aead with the setup.

Back home we have a late lunch, pack what we need for tonight’s show and head off to Edinburgh.

We load in and get ready for a 6pm soundcheck. Soundman Jamie is on the case and we have time to nip out for some grub before doors open.

Andres plays another spectacular set. The venue is pretty full and everyone loves it…I follow and have a great time. Lots of sweat, whisky and beer!

It’s well after midnight when we get back Loch Lomond-side and stop in – albeit rather late – for Thorsten’s 50th birthday party. We have a chat and a few drinks then make our way home….
