I’M off to the Glasgow Airport for an early flight to London.

The Musicians’ Union (MU) Live Performance section committee meeting is at midday at MU HQ.

My flight gets in a bit late and I’m pushed for time as I jump soon the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow Terminal 5 into town. I normally fly in and out of City Airport, but the times didn’t work out this time.

As out its, I arrive right on midday and we go through the first hour of the meeting before breaking for lunch. Good to catch up with everyone.

We’re done soon after 3pm and I go straight back to Heathrow, pass through security, board the plane and am back in Glasgow by 7.30pm.

I’m home by 8.30pm and dinner’s on the way…
