AFTER an amazing breakfast – see the video blog! – we get on our way to Herselt in Belgium

Although we’re crossing borders it’s only a couple of hours. We find a place for lunch then go to the venue.

We’re staying upstairs and rest up for a while then load in and soundcheck before dinner.

The place is looking a bit quiet half an hour before showtime but suddenly starts to fill up and there’s some folks in that saw me at Peer Festival ten (yup, TEN!) years ago. One if these folks is Freddie from Euro blues webzine Rootsville.

The gig goes great and we chat and drink with folks round the merch table for a good hour or two before we tidy up. Then we go upstairs…..zzzzzz…
