WE’RE clear of all the routine stuff when Betty comes round…I’m helping her sort out all the photos and stuff from her phone, laptop and various old backups.

Joe comes to join us later, but his buggy breaks down on our driveway and a couple of local pals give him a shove to our house. We can’t fix the buggy so I give Joe a lift back home and we arrange to meet up later.

I spend the afternoon tidying up the photos and doing a ‘first run’ compilation of the resulting images into an album.

There’s some other bits and bobs needing done then I go out for a walk up the loch side.

We meet Betty at the local coffee shop to pick up some fish and chips to take back to theirs and some other pals join us for what turns out to be an impromptu but wonderful evening,
