The Record Factory is a cracking venue 🙂

WITH the forthcoming Brexit Blues single, the time is right to give my website a wee bit of a refresh , so I put up a holding page with some links to serve up some info in the meantime.

I need to get all the gear ready and pack the car for tonight’s show…but still have an hour or two to work on the website updates.

We head into Glasgow early afternoon and go straight to the Record Factory. Some folks we know are playing a Sunday afternoon residency in the bar and despite the noisy football crowd watching the many screens, it’s nice to hear the Shiverin’ Sheiks.

Sean (Oliver) drives just as we start loading in – venue manager Jack and soundman Tony are really accommodating and helpful and we’re all set up and sound checked with half an hour to spare before doors open.

I’d been worried about numbers for what is a last0minuet, Sunday night show…and advance ticket sales have been a bit slow…but there’s a great crowd and we have a fantastic night. Very few regulars/die-hards but lots of new faces, possibly down to the Facebook ad I ran for the show.

Great to catch up with our pal Sean
