AFTER a (extremely) long lie we get up and breakfast on the go.

We’re just finishing up when Betty drops in for a coffee then I hit the studio. Today’s priority is to record instrumental and vocal versions for the second Christmas song for the publisher.

I dot between the studio and the office, taking breaks in the recording/mixing to deal with various emails and bits and bobs of social media and have a coffee.

Meantime, Margaret’s removing the silicon around the shower base. Naively, I thought it would just pull lout in a nice, rubbery one-er…but no, it’s a hell of a job and she’s scraping and picking for hours.

I get the music mixed and ready to send off then Start making dinner. It’s well after 8pm and I’m making jambalaya which is quite a time-consuming process.
