Back home just in time for day seven in my ‘song a day’ livestream series. Travelling Riverside Blues…

WE’RE Up early and head into Glasgow. Margaret drops me in Milngavie and I walk to the station, get the train to Anniesland and walk along to the eye hospital at Gartnavel.

I’m a little early for my 9.20am appointment but there’s not too much waiting around and I’m away soon after 10am. Back to my previous steroid regime (every two days in each eye) as ‘there’s some activity’ in my eyes.

I walk into the city centre in the rain and meet my pal Jonzip for a coffee. He’s my guest at the Memorial Hall show here on the banks of Loch Lomond on 1 February. Tickets here!

I have some bits and bobs of shopping to pick up and walk up to Costco at Springburn to meet Margaret. We get some more shopping – and treat myself to an Instant Pot (an American multi-cooker I’ve had my eye own for ages) – then head for home – I have Facebook livestream to the signature guitar page at 6pm and we’re tight for time.

A huge traffic jam holds us up and we get home with just a couple of minutes to get organised and start the livestream.

Once done I dump the video fils onto the laptop for editing for other online destinations and go and start preparing dinner. Salt and pepper tofu.

I make the rice in the Instant Pot and although not perfect, the thing can clearly save a lot of time and hassle 😉

After dinner I edit the video footage from the livestream and upload to YouTube and Instagram TV…then it’s bedtime!
