AFTER the chaos of visitors to east Loch Lomond over the last three or four days, the place is now deserted. While spooky and not what we like, it’s for the best. I’m, sure.

The village shop is closing to walk-ins at midday and will be offering online ordering and local pickup/delivery while it can. No shifts for me, then – and I can’t say I’m unhappy about that. I think we all need to self-isolate as much as possible.

I’m planning a livestream concert at some point over the next week and hoping to include Smokehead. I email them my ideas and get a positive response by return. If all goes to plan we’ll announce a streaming show soon!

Margaret’s been busy getting the forthcoming Manchester and Liverpool shows re-arranged – we have new dates for September, so I spend a while updating all the online listings etc. I get the feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg.

We have some leftover pulled pork, red cabbage slaw and sweet potato fires then have a video Skype chat for an hour catching up with our pals Ted and Laurie in Nashville.
