THE alarm goes off early – official release day for Stick to Your Guns and lots of stuff to get done online to spread the word.

Once I get the initial wave of social media stuff done I schedule a ‘premier’ of the official video for the song on Facebook. Meantime, I hit the studio and film some video clips for the NHS charity single being put together by our pals in Bournemouth.

As soon as the Facebook video premier is done I do two short Facebook livestreams – one to my page and one to my profile to let folks know about the single and that I’ll play it live as part of another livestream at 5pm.

The Stirling Observer has run a nice news feature and pic about the single release and my lockdown livestreams – I scan it and get it in the press cuttings archive.

At 5pm we go live with a performance of the new single and a couple other songs as well as some chat.

It’s been a pretty hectic day and we’re ready to sit down and relax after dinner.

Next on the agenda… a full-length livestream concert on Monday 27 April…and another new single on Friday 15 May…
