WE have breakfast outside in the sunshine…and as it’s nice and calm I decide to use the drone to get some aerial footage of Balmaha.
I generally use the drone for photos and video jobs at pretty close quarters, so sending it on a distant mission is fun..and a little nerve-wracking. I get back home safely though, and have edit up the footage. See it above or on my YouTube channel.
I do a bit of sharing of the video and Bandcamp link for the charity NHS single then do some more promo for Monday’s livestream.
With the set list made up I play through some of the banjo and regular guitar songs until Margaret calls me. There’s a wasp bike in the attic.
The bike is in a small gap in the roof boards and I’m dispatched to deal with it. Stupidly, I give it a poke – this could result in a swarm in a. confined place, but luckily there’s no-one home. I destroy it then cut some wood and screw it over the gaps. Homewrecker!!
I get a few outside jobs done then go for walk and meet Margaret outside Betty and Joe’s where we have a socially distanced chinwag.
Back home I crack open a beer and sit in the last of the sun then head indoors to make tonight’s mushroom risotto.
