I SLEEP in a bit – these late shifts in the village shop after already putting in a day’s work are knackering me!

There’s a load of stuff to do for my pal Rab’s website I want to have finished before today’s shop shift – my last until next week.

I’d hoped to get out for a walk but time runs out and early afternoon I hit the shop for eight hours straight.

Not only is it really busy in the shop, but it’s delivery days so things are full-on ’til 10pm closing time.

Back home we have a late dinner and another early night – we’re off into Glasgow early in the morning.
