I HAVE a shift in the village shop this afternoon/evening so wanna clear the decks before then.

There’s a PRS Members’ Fund ‘telephone visit’ to do and a couple others to be organised.

Once that’s out the way I make up a meal plan for the next week or so….and a shopping list for Margaret who’s headed off into Glasgow earlier and will pick up some shopping in the way home.

There’s some pork shoulder left over from last night’s recipe, so I look for inspiration online and find a cool recipe for carnitas. I’ll make that tomorrow (Thursday) for dinner.

It’s a lovely day and I make time for a walk before lunch and my shift in the shop.

After a busy, but largely uneventful shift, I’m home soon after 10pm and enjoy a late dinner and some telly.
