I CALL the bike supplier first thing and pay my bill over the phone. Phew! That was a pain not being able to set up a bank transfer last night!

It’s kinda late before I have breakfast then here’s a bit of a scramble to get all the things I need to do done before I head to the village shop for an afternoon/evening shift. One of the tasks is to make up a meal plan and shopping list and send it to Margaret so she can get the shopping in Glasgow later on.

The shop is quiet and I’m back home before Margaret. I’d considered going a walk, albeit int he dark, but it’s pouring rain so I set the fire instead and then hit the office and get some more work done.

Margaret gets back with the shopping which we put away then I get on with tonight’s Asian salmon which we have with cold soba noodles and sprouting broccoli.
