I TRY out the studio setup for the first off two guitar sessions today – my student gets a main image of a close up of my hands and an inset (‘picture in picture’) of my face. It seems a pretty good way to run a masterclass/sessions.
Once done, I create some images to promote this evening’s Tales From the Road livestream and post some round social media before lunch. I’ll do some more later.
There’s some vinyl to be taken to the post office in the village. Margaret drives to the village but we’re later than usual so my plans to walk back home are curtailed slightly and she drops me halfway – I’m doing a songwriting session with one of myself students at 4pm. As it is, I get home with just a minute or two to spare.
After the session I post my final round of social media promo for tonight’s livestream then get busy editing the vlog video into something presentable. While the finished video file is processing, I check all the tech setup and test it by doing a quick livestream to promote the livestream!
The livestream goes pretty good and I’m impressed with the BlackMagic switcher. Still a lot to learn about using and programming it, but it’s a good start and I’m glad I’ve been investing some of the proceeds of past livestreams into future ones. See the livestream video here.
