WE’RE not long up when Matty arrives – he’s in our ‘bubble’ and staying for the weekend. He drops off his stuff and goes out for a run up the hill – Margaret and I have breakfast.

I’m busy in the studio backing up and archiving audio, video and photographs on the server.

After a mid-afternoon snack I go for a walk up the lochside then get home and start preparing for this evening’s slide guitar masterclass.

There’s a fair amount of set up and testing for the masterclass and I manage to get everything up and running in time for the 7pm start. It goes well and, from the feedback, everyone found it beneficial.

Back any the house I get the grill lit and make Vietnamese beef and we sit down, eat, drink and chat the rest of the night.
