AFTER a bit of a tidy-up in the studio I get busy with some admin then start looking at my accounts.

I’m a little flummoxed by the FreeAgent accounting software that comes courtesy of my business bank account…for the last 25 years I’ve done my accounts on straightforward spreadsheets, listing income and outgoings, paper receipts all stuck on A4 paper, numbered and files.

A lean year due to covid combined with zero attention to my accounts since last year end make the time right to get a bit more with it and make some use of new technology!

The camera on my iPhone has proved quite impressive and although I’ve found a way to control video from a remote iOS device, I can’t seem to find a way of doing similar with the camera (other than using the remote shutter on my watch). I spend an inordinate amount of time researching and not really coming up with any solutions.

Catriona and the kids drop by int he afternoon, followed by Matty who’s staying the night. he lives alone and is in our ‘bubble’. They all go a walk and I carry on working and manage to get some plans in place for a series of Smokehead livestream sessions.

I’d promised Betty I’d sort out some issues with her landline phone, so go a walk up the lochside, stopping off to help with the phone.

Margaret makes dinner and we sit at the table and chat ’til late while I create some artwork for Matty – he’s wanting some custom running shirts printed.
