UP at the crack of dawn. I’m taking some photos at son-in-law Will’s in Doune to use when Instrat building his Manson Glass website.

The workshop’s all ready when I get there and I spend a few hours photographing the making of the first paperweight to be made in the workshop.

I take a break at 11am to watch my cousin John’s funeral service online, take a few more pix then pack up and dash home for my afternoon/evening shift in the village shop. Margaret’s made me some sandwiches and a coffee to take 🙂

It’s a beautiful day and the shop is busy right up until closing. I balance the till, lock up and head for home.

Margaret’s got some pork marinading in pinchitos spices and oil so I get some charcoal fired up so I can cook them on the grill.

While the charcoal chimney’s flaming I start a batch of Dave Arcari slate coasters for a merch order…then we eat and chill for what remains of the night.
