ANOTHER nice day – there’s some stuff to do around the house and some ottos to be taken of groundwork’s in the car park before I can get on with today’s to-do list.

Once I’m on top of things I check all my measurements for the new bar under the smoker shelter and then set about cutting all the wood to length.

I take a break for lunch then cut the grass before making up the frames for the top and bottom of the bar.

It’s late afternoon by the time I head out for a walk and do a few livestreams to promote the Smokehead Sessions which kick off on Monday. On my way back I bump into a couple of pals, stopping each time for a good blether!

Later on we stop by Betty and Joe’s for an aperitif then it’s back home and I make some (rather late!) mushroom risotto for dinner.
