OK – MY website’s now been down for two full days (at least). I get in touch with the hosting company and they escalate the problem to their top-level techie folks.

There’s some more fridge magnet stock to go to the shop before breakfast 🙂

I can’t do my blog as the website’s down but I et some other work out the way then go back to the house to examine a gap int he side of our roof. I can’t get close, though, and have to cut back a load of climbing plants and ivy before I can get the ladders close.

Looks like there’s a space needing filled with cement or mortar. not sure if that’s what’s causing the problem with our front soffit and bathroom ceiling, but it’s worth a try.

I make some fried chicken wraps for lunch – chicken in the air fryer and naan-style flatbreads using the dough I made for last night’s flame-grilled chicken filled naan breads.

The afternoon is spent on a call with the company we use for mobile card/contactless card payments. Despite updating the app and charging the card reader, it refused to take payments over the weekend and kept throwing up an ‘account info required’ error message. Seem that my account with the company has been deprecated and I need to close it and open a new one. We also need a new card reader as the current one is about to become obsolete.

The folks are really helpful and we get everything sorted – but I feel obligated topping out that some kind of notification of the account depreciation would have been useful!

Next job is populating the merch catalogue within the app. Jeez.

There’s been no time for a walk – on the upside, tho’, my back and sciatica seem a little better. I might get back out on the bike sometime soon!

At last I get some hopeful news about my website..they’re working on another solution and hope to have it back up and running to some extent by the morning…
