A BUSY day ahead. I have someone coming for a photo session early afternoon o need to get the studio cleaned up and also reset the live room for a photos.
But the time I run my first Zoom guitar session of the day I’ve made good progress with the studio…and once the session’s done I get some studio flashes set up and am ready for the photos.
The photos are done in in a jiffy, then I get busy with updates to the local community trust website.
Margaret buzzes me to the studio to tell me the Nest heating/water control isn’t working. Seems the heat link connected to the boiler is goosed. A quick online search shows this to be quite a common occurrence…but before I do any more trouble-shooting I need to know if the unit is actually getting power.
Our pal David pops up with a tester and confirms the heat link is getting power…alas too late to get support form Google/Nest so that’ll have to wait ‘til tomorrow.
I have another guitar session with a student done south then set up for my weekly livestream into my Wildcats Facebook group.
When I get back to the house Matty’s been out for a run and in the shower…and Margaret’s got dinner almost ready…
