MARGARET’S away to meet Catriona and the kids at a soft play place and Matty’s in his room.
After breakfast I work on some leather bottleneck cases then climb up on the roof to finish off the last stage in a hole repair.
Once the raw bottleneck cases are done I start a batch of ‘I love Balmaha’ fridge magnets.
Next job is dyeing the bottleneck cases – I’ll do grey/black, brown and purple versions as well as a natural light tan finish so folks have options. These are ‘Dave Arcari’ design but we’ll also offer personalised options such as initials/monograms.
Joe’s in hospital having damaged his shoulder in a fall so I asked Betty’s she’d like to come for dinner tonight…not enough for our planned meal – we’ll have that tomorrow – so I make a batch of pizza dough.
Margaret’s home mid-afternoon then Matty heads off and I take a walk up the lochside.
In the studio I do some more work on my arrangement of Loch Lomond. I decided that it might be good to have a version I actually like and could perform live!
Betty arrives just after 8pm and I knock up some pizza. This dough is the best yet – probably down to the 00 flour and fresher yeast….the pizzas are a hit but I still need to work on my dough stretching!
