ONE of my guitar students who’s normally later in the day is early this week, so I need to get my shit together.

The morning is back-to-back sessions – not that I’m complaining – then I get busy with prep for this evening;s livestream. I’m keen to run the crappy demo of Loch Lomond past the Wildcats and have a live alternative to let them hear.

After lunch an outdoor table/worktop I ordered arrives…and a package from Smokehead. We build the worktop in the rain and I check out the Smokehead box…a bottle of whisky and some promo stuff for a wee campaign they have planned. Nice.

The two uninterruptible power supplies I ordered arrive. Last week’s power cut played havoc with our server and network drives and it’s not before time we put some safeguards both in the house and the studio.

Installation is straightforward but time-consuming and next thing is my livestream which gives well and without any hiccups. The consensus is definitely to develop the stripped back guitar /vocal version and ditch the ‘big’ arrangement. Nice to hear 🙂
