I WAKE up and check my main – davearcari.com – website. It’s down again. I’m not surprised, though, as some of the feel restores I set up have some conflicts.

Oh, I almost forgot, it’s my birthday! Fifty-seven. Betty drops in with a nice bottle of whisky for me and have a coffee and chat.

I spend the rest of the morning resolving the issues and five minutes before we leave to go to Catriona and Will’s I finally get the website back up and running.

It was Will’s mum – Joyce’s – birthday yesterday so they invited us all round for a wee gathering. Will’s sister Carolyn, her partner Steve and their two boys Karl and Joe are already there and we have a great afternoon and evening.

We’re staying over and I enjoy a few glasses of red and a nightcap with Will before we all head off to bed. It’s been a great day 🙂
