I’M busy in the studio when I realise I need to get some promo one for the two upcoming shows.

First, I check my website. Panic – I’m getting that weird ‘under maintenance’ screen that happened a few weeks ago.

It’s not the usual ‘wordpress’ maintenance’ error which can be resolved easily..this is a landing page and no part of my website is available. And I can’t login in to the site admin either.

I go onto the server and disable all the site plugins. Problems still there. I try a file roll back. No joy.

I raise a support ticket with the hosting company and the usual to-ing and fro-ing ensues. I think this is something being caused by migration of websites to new servers at their end.

I spend some time filming a wee video for Smokehead to support the brand’s ‘rip up the rulebook’ campaign – I’ve been privileged to be deemed a like-minded partner and sent some whisky and promo stuff. Its the least I can do 😉 See it here.

A new mattress we ordered last week was due to arrive between 9am and 6pm but – surprise, surprise – doesn’t show. Margaret calls the upper and it appears the driver was delayed by adverse weather. It’ll be with us tomorrow.

Before I know it the afternoon’s gone and I haven’t even had time to get out for a walk before Betty comes round for dinner.
