MARGARET’S a little better, but still not feeling good…I get on with some work.
Arthur arrives just after 11am to record some choruses on my Loch Lomond (Home) song then we have a coffee and a blether.
By lunchtime Margaret’s starting to feel more like herself and mages to eat a slice of toast without chucking it back up. I make a meal plan and shopping list and head into Glasgow to get supplies in.
The drive into Glasgow is a nightmare with road closures and roadworks on the diverted route…so my return form Costco and Tesco is via Balloch. Longer, but much quicker in the circumstances.
We’re having pizza (again!) tonight – I’m attempting a thin and crispy ‘bar style’ pizza. Betty;s coming round to record some choruses for me later, so she’ll hang out for some pizza too 🙂
Meantime I get some more work done.
It only takes ten or fifteen minutes to get Betty’s vocal recorder then we go back to the house, have a drink and I make the pizzas…they turn out well. Much better than I expected for a first attempt at this style.
