Bathtime for Freya and Aaron…

WE ENJOY a bit of a long lie – and deal with the morning’s emails and social media while drinking coffee in bed.

In the office I start a batch of fridge magnets – I want to have a wee stock ready to replenish the village shop etc. I also make some Wildcats’ patches for beanies and finish a custom keyring for our pal Susie’s birthday.

We’re off to Catriona and Will’s in the afternoon – they’re going out for a meal and we’ll babysit.

I decide to cycle the 25 miles and really enjoy the run. The first proper on/off road decent-distanced ride since I got back on the bike.

Catriona and Will are away when I get there…we look after the kids then it’s bath time, stories and bed. Freya’s snuffling a bit and doesn’t want to go to sleep…dunno if she’s had a bad dream or it’s the after-effects of the flu vaccine she got the other day.

Catriona’s got a load of lovely stuff in for our dinner which I prepare while Margret tries to get Freya down. We’ve not long finished eating when Catriona and Will get back and we have a few glasses of red and a blether before bed.
